New Delhi: After getting dumped by his own uncle, former LJP Chief Chirag Paswan has met RJD (Rashtriya Janta Dal) leader Tejashwi Yadav in Patna. Chirag cited that, he has invited him to the death anniversary of his father and Dalit stalwart Ram Vilas Paswan.
Chirag Told Media, “I have met Tejashwi Yadav to invite him to ‘Barsi’ of my father that is organized on 12th of September. I will also meet Lalu Ji tomorrow in Delhi,” Paswan has said he wishes to meet CM of Bihar Nitish Kumar too.
The meeting has created a buzz in the political world as the meet has happened after RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav suggested an alliance between the LJP and his party may happen soon, Suggesting that Chirag should team up with son Tejashwi.
The LJP leader is currently involved in a bitter dispute with his uncle and Union Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras to claim the legacy of his father and regain LJP Leadership. Chirag is organizing a mega event in Patna to mark the first death anniversary of his late father. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Congress president Sonia Gandhi are also invited.
A few weeks ago, LJP leader Pashupati Paras claimed support of his party cadre and decided to throw Chirag Paswan out of the party leadership. The tussle continued to make headlines for days. Pashupati Paras was made Union Minister by BJP. This confirmed his acceptance by the NDA alliance. While Chirag Paswan suffered setbacks.
The young leader is trying to mobilize people’s support in favor as he recently launched an “Aashirvad Yatra” to get people’s blessings.
