Owaisi enters UP, makes ‘Muslim cheating’ remark

New Delhi: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has entered poll-bound state Uttar Pradesh. He has alleged that Muslims have been ‘cheated’ in name of ‘Secularism’. Owaisi has said that his first effort is Muslim leadership should be developed in the biggest state of the country that is Uttar Pradesh. The leader has started his political campaign from Ayodhya, UP.

Owaisi attacked the Samajwadi party that Akhilesh Yadav has always created fear among the community and Muslims should not live under a shadow. The statement came while addressing a rally at Muslim Dominated, Rasulabad village in the Ayodhya.

Owaisi is concerned that AAP, SP, and BSP do not want anyone from the Muslim community to emerge as a leader. As I am talking of giving participation to Muslims, we are uncomfortable and left out. Owaisi has already confirmed that his primal target is the BJP over handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and his only objective is to defeat the saffron party.

BJP has reverted on his words, saying CM Yogi Adityanath will not allow his ‘Jinnah mentality’ to flourish in Uttar Pradesh. And providing protection to a notorious criminal like Atiq Ahmed in the name of protection to the community, inducting him and his wife in AIMIM shows owaisi’s mentality for criminals.

Owaisi however defended his actions by saying several BJP leaders are also facing several cases. Congress also has hit over Owaisi for starting his campaign in Ayodhya. Owaisi has is continuously making efforts to expand his party across the country. He had some success in Maharashtra and Bihar. The party, however, could not make gains in West Bengal and now Owaisi eyes Uttar Pradesh.
