Muslim representation should be on basis of minority, not on religion: Athawale


New Delhi: On Wednesday, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale Inaugarated Sangeet Shiromani Swami Haridas Aavirbhav Mahotsav, which was organized by Shri Radhaprasad Dham in Vrindavan. During the event, Athawale attacked AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi over Muslim Representation. He said Muslims should be given political representation for being a minority community and not on religious grounds. This remark has come after Owaisi’s rally in Ayodhya, UP. In which he cited Muslim Representation.

Ramdas Athawale has entered UP to take part in UP Polls that are bound to happen in 2022.Earlier, Ramdas Athawale pushed the one-child policy with the slogan ‘Hum do, Humara like and attacked BSP over Appeasement politics. Ramdas Athawale said BSP will not, more than 5-10 seats.

On the question of the Taliban and Afghanistan, Ramdas Athawale said “The Government of India is monitoring situation closely. Time will tell our course later.” He backed Government’s policy on Afghanistan.
