Drugs On Cruise Case: Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan Arrested By NCB

New Delhi: Aryan Khan, the eldest son of bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, will be presented in a court today in Mumbai, a day after he and seven others got arrested following a raid on a party which happened on a cruise off the shoreline of Mumbai by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The 23-year-old Aryan Khan was brought in court on Sunday evening where the anti-drug organization conceded custody of those arrested till today. 

The high-profile raid which took place on Sunday yielded around 13 grams of cocaine, 22 pills of MDMA, 21 grams of charas and 5 grams of MD as a whole, the NCB stated. The charges claimed against Aryan Khan incorporate buy, ownership and utilization of prohibited substances. 

Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde requested bail, saying that his client had been arrested uniquely based on chats and messages. “Aryan had no ticket, no cabin or seat on board the cruise. He was there because he had been invited. He didn’t even have a boarding pass. Nothing has been found on him. He was arrested on the basis of chat only.”

Other than Aryan Khan, the anti-drugs organization arrested seven other people who were on the cruise, namely Nupur Sarika, Munmun Dhamecha, Mohak Jaswal, Ismeet Singh, Gomit Chopra, Vikrant Chhoker, Arbaaz Merchant. 

As indicated by the officials, the party started after the cruise left Mumbai and was adrift. The raid started at 10 am and went on till 2 pm. During the raid, the suspects were looked at and various drugs were found from them, which they had concealed in their apparel, undergarments and shoes, a NCB official stated. On Sunday, the cruise company in an assertion said it had nothing to do with the incident which took place on the cruise.
