New Delhi: The US has convicted the suicide bomber attack in northern Afghanistan mosque that resulted in almost 46 causalities (killed), stating that it was an “enormous tragedy” and people of the country deserve much more.

“Obviously, any loss is an enormous tragedy, and our heart goes out to the families who lost loved ones,” Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary stated in the reports in a conference on Friday.

“We, of course, will continue to work in partnership with leaders in the region to work to get partners who stood by our side out of Afghanistan, who want to depart. That’s something that there’s ongoing work on, as we speak,” Psaki added.

Ned Price, State Department Spokesperson said that the US expresses complete disapproval in the strongest terms of the attack on worshippers at the mosque.

“We offer our deepest condolences to the victims and their families. The Afghan people deserve a future free of terror,” Prince stated.
