New Delhi: Neymar has disclosed that he might be playing his last FIFA World Cup in Qatar, as the strain of the tournament has exhausted the Brazilian superstar’s mind as well as body.

The PSG winger has been on international duty at the 2014 World Cup on home soil in Rio de Janeiro and four years later in Russia but however, expects the upcoming tournament to be his last appearance from Brazil.

“I think it’s my last World Cup,” he said in an exclusive documentary, Neymar and The Line of Kings.

“I see it as my last because I don’t know if I have the strength of mind to deal with football any more. So I’ll do everything to turn up well, do everything to win with my country, to realise my greatest dream since I was little. And I hope I can do it,” the 29-year-old added.

Neymar will turn 34 in 2026 when the USA, Mexico, and Canada will host football’s biggest stage in the world.

Aside from Olympic Gold medal, he won in the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio, Neymar Jr’s only achievement with the national team is when Brazil hoisted the Confederation Cup.
