New Delhi: The Delhi Police arrested two police constables for their alleged coalition with gangs led by Lawrence Bishnoi, whose presently in jail, and Jitender Maan aka Gogi, who was shot down by the rival gang at Rohini court the previous month.
The identities of the two policemen were Sunil and Deepak respectively, arrested by the special cell team after they detained four members of Gogi and Bishnoi gangs. Police claims to have prevented a potential retaliation attack to kill gang member Sunil Maan, known as Tillu Tajpuriya, who was nabbed behind the orders to shoot Gogi at Rohini court.
Police stated that the four hitmen of Gogi and Bishnoi gangs came to Delhi on the orders of Bishnoi and his partner Ashok Pradhan to kill Tillu Tajpuriya.
Investigators booked the two police constables for helping the gang members find accommodations in Delhi. They were detained three days ago by the special cell, police stated.
