Free WiFi services will be provided on Delhi Metro Yellow Line

Standard internet applications like Facebook, email, WhatsApp, Google, audio and video calls will be useable for the commuters.

New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) stated that they have introduced free Wi-Fi for all the commuters in all 37 stations of its Yellow Line on Sunday, connecting from HUDA City Centre to Samaypur Badli

“More than 330 access points have been installed at these 37 stations,” the DMCR stated, adding that free Wi-Fi will be especially beneficial for students travelling to and from the North Delhi Campus of Delhi University.

Standard internet applications like Facebook, email, WhatsApp, Google, audio and video calls will be useable for the commuters. The passengers have to select OUI DMRC free Wi-Fi on their mobile phones, in which they have to enter their respective phone numbers and E-mail ID and will receive an OTP via SMS. To get access to the Wi-Fi, one has to enter the given OTP accept all the terms and conditions provided by DMRC.

The free Wi-Fi service has been already available at the Airport Express Line and all the stations on the Blue Line. “With the launch of Wi-Fi at all stations on the Yellow Line, OUI DMRC FREE Wi-Fi is now available at 94 stations of the Delhi Metro network. This free Wi-Fi is being provided by a consortium led by M/s Techno Sat Comm.,” executive director of DMRC, Anuj Dayal stated.
