Mughal Road shuts due to fresh snowfall in Kashmir

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Aftab Shah has confirmed that the roads have been closed for every vehicle due to bad weather and slippery road conditions.

New Delhi: Authorities have shut the historical Mughal Road which is connecting Poonch district (Jammu) with Shopian (south Kashmir) for all the vehicular traffic amid the season’s freshest snowfall in Pir Ki Gali.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Aftab Shah has confirmed that the roads have been closed for every vehicle due to bad weather and slippery road conditions.

He requested the tourist to not plan their journey on the Mughal road till the weather conditions ameliorated and the authorities have green signaled it.
