New Delhi: On 25th October, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has taken a massive dig at National Conference Leader and Chief Farooq Abdullah over his suggestion of an Indo-Pak Talk on Kashmir.
Union Minister first removed his Bulletproof Casket on the podium and then said, “Today I want to speak to you frankly, which is why there is no bulletproof security here. Farooq Sahab has suggested I speak with Pakistan but I will speak to the youth & people of Valley. I cannot speak for Pakistan”
Amit Shah added, “He is an experienced man, who was once the chief minister, it’s his advice. But I want to tell you, that if there have to be talks, I will hold them with the people of my valley and the youth of the valley,” Shah said while addressing a gathering in Srinagar.”
The Home Minister is on his visit to J&K since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019. Earlier, A BJP-led delegation met three displaced Kashmiri Pandit organizations. The delegation demanded the construction of two-bedroom quarters for the migrant employees from the community recruited under the prime minister’s special recruitment program in the Kashmir valley.
