New Delhi: The Haryana Government has announced that the Employment local candidate act 2022 will be effective from 15th January 2022. The act reserves 75% of jobs for residents of Haryana. The act also applies to private companies, societies, trusts, and partnership firms in the state. The Act has been notified already.
Deputy CM, Dushyant Chautala has called the act a remarkable step. He said the state has opened new doors of employment for the youth of the state by implementing the Act. All the private companies, trusts, and societies have been directed to fill in the details of their employees by registering on the ‘Haryana Udyam Memorandum’ portal by January 15 to avoid actions”
He added, that more than 16,000 companies have registered themselves on the portal.
The act has been disapproved by a lot of people as many people travel from NCR to the Haryana region for jobs. The act may push them away from entering the city for money. The Deputy CM however argued consultations were held with various industrial organizations at the state and levels. Start-ups and new IT companies in the state have been given concession in this Act for two years and a survey is being done in 4 big cities of Haryana to see the impact of the act.
