New Delhi: A woman from British Columbia province has been going through an underlying condition of asthma. According to the doctors, the patient’s health condition deteriorated due to bad air quality and high-temperature heat waves.

The consulting doctor, Dr. Kyle Merritt said that in over 10 years’ time he has used the term ‘climate change’ while diagnosing the patient. “She has diabetes. She has some heart failure. She lives in a trailer with no air conditioning. All of her health problems have worsened. And she’s struggling to stay hydrated,” the doctor added. He also informed that rather than just treating the patient, it’s important to identify and sort out the main cause of the problem.
