Russian President Vladimir Putin and the new Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida are expected to Visit India for a formal visit next month i.e. December.

New Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin and the new Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida are expected to Visit India for a formal visit next month i.e. December.
Putin will possibly arrive on 6th December and is likely to hold the business-end talks with India. Whereas, the dates for Kishida are yet to be decided. Kishida has replaced Former Japanese PM Suga in recent times. 
Putin will arrive in India at the same time when the S-400 missile system will be delivered to India. So, the US will possibly eye on India’s action during the visit. Meanwhile, Vladamir Putin and PM Modi are expected to cover Indian economic strategies in the Arctic and the Siberian Far East locations. These locations have a vast untapped area with deposits of petroleum, gold, coal, and diamonds. 
Meanwhile, Kishida is keen to work with India, and talks are likely to discuss defense, security, and an environment for enhanced trades. The Japanese govt. may also seek clarity on India’s Interest over Japanese involvement in the development of the North-East States.
