New Delhi: On 12th November, Former Congress president and leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that the country’s national security is being compromised as the government does not have any proper strategy on China. He quoted a news report where the External Affairs Ministry and the Chief of Defence Staff had a different take on the China border issue.

On 11th November, The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat said, the controversy about the Chinese coming into the Indian Territory and building a new village is false, and those villages fall under Chinese LAC.
He also asserted that China does not believe in Indian perception or definition of the LAC.

Rahul Gandhi referred to a recent report by the US Department of Defence. The report said China has built a large village inside disputed territory between its Tibet Region and India’s Arunachal Pradesh in the eastern sector of the LAC. That led to sparkle debates all over the nation. The MEA condemned Chinese occupation.
Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his famous “56-inch chest” remark, Rahul Gandhi tweeted, Mr. 56 Inch is scared of China.
He also attacked the BJP govt. of UP saying, they promised development of Gujarat in UP. But, they achieved nothing in both of the states.
