New Delhi: The Delhi born bollywood actor forayed into films in the year 2018 with the romantic movie Loveyatri, which was backed by his brother in law Salman Khan. His other film, as well, has a Khan association, who is set in opposition to Sharma in the upcoming movie Antim. The film is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, Antim, is a hindi version of the Marathi hit film Mulshi Pattern which was released in 2018, which explores the harsh conditions faced by the farmers that pushes some of them towards crime.
His development from an innocent Garba dancer in his acting debut Loveyatri to a gangster in the upcoming film Antim: The Final Truth was a determined move, and believes actor Aayush Sharma who says he wants to play various types of roles from the start of his profession.
As Antim marks his first on-screen association with Salman Khan, Sharma said he at first didn’t know that the 55-year-old star was acting in it as well. He expressed “I was told four-five months later that he (Khan) wants to come in. I was very scared then. I genuinely feel very lucky that I am getting to work with the biggest superstar. We are very comfortable with each other. But the fact is that he is Salman Khan on the sets and we never cross the line with him, it is not like a brother-like conversation, there is a seniority that you have to maintain.”
The film likewise features few other actors like Nikitin Dheer, famous TV actor Mahima Makwana, and Pragya Jaiswal, who predominantly works in Telugu cinema, Antim is set to be released worldwide in theaters on November 26, 2021.
