New Delhi: A Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker was stabbed to death in front of his wife on Monday in Palakkad district, Kerala.
The identity of the deceased was S Sanjith, who was attacked by a gang when he was dropping his wife to at work in Mambaram area around 9 AM.
KM Haridas, BJP district president accused the Social Democratic Party of India of the death of Sanjith.
Police stated Sanjith, riding from Elappully village, sustained more than 50 stab wounds. Following the murder, tension has increased in the area and the police are keeping a strict watch of the locality.
A probe has been commenced to track down the accused who fled the incident spot, Police added.
The BJP stated that the assailants followed Sanjith’s two-wheeler, hit his vehicle and as he fell from his two-wheeler, they stabbed him to death in front of his wife.
Underling the killing of RSS worker, K Surendran, BJP state president quoted it as a “planned murder” and blamed police for failing to do their duty and accused Pinarayi Vijayan-led government of letting such an incident happen in Kerala.
