New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry is planning to launch a drive across the country for citizens to register in the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. The mission aims to compile digital health records of the individual, along with other required documentation. This is a plan of PM’s action plan as reported earlier. 
At the event, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said, “Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is a revolution and will help us in keeping digital records. Regular checks for Health and wellness are important for screening. So, cure can be done at time” 
The minister was addressing an inaugural program of the Health Pavilion in ITF2021. During which Mandaviya added, “Health is not trading for us but total health, people should get good facilities, this is what we desire.” He mentioned the importance of this mission.
Around Rs, 64,000 crores have been sanctioned by the Government of India with the aim that every district will be covered to strengthen the health infrastructure of the country. Mandaviya added that “We need more doctors and we are investing in hospitals and increasing doctor-patient ratio also, you will see results soon”.
In the end, he highlighted the achievements of the country in terms of the highest vaccination coverage to fight the pandemic. He said, “We have achieved 113 crore vaccination doses milestone with the support of various stakeholders.”
