India at a low-level of Covid threat, says US state department

New Delhi: Specifying “a low-level of Covid in India”, the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced the lowest level threat, i.e. Level-1 for the nation, stated the United States of America state department.

“Your risk of contracting Covid may be lower if you are fully vaccinated with an FDA-authorised vaccine,” cited a US travel advisory on Monday for India. The official website of CDC said, “Key information for travelers to India: Make sure you are fully vaccinated before traveling to India. Travelers should follow recommendations or requirements in India, including wearing a mask”.
