New Delhi: One of the much-anticipated romantic comedy films ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ has at last released in theaters on November 19. The film features Rani Mukherji, Saif Ali Khan, Sharvari Wagh and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the lead roles, the film pits two sets of con artists bunty and babli, from various age groups, against one another as they attempt to prove who is the better con couple.

The movie is directed by Varun V. Sharma, the rib-tickling comedy is a family entertainer additionally featuring Pankaj Tripathi, who plays the part of a cop. The film is produced  by Aditya Chopra. 

First reviews of the movie are out and ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ is getting mixed reviews from fans on Twitter and various other platforms. While some say Rani Mukherji, Saif, Siddhant and Sharvari’s performance should be given a round of applause, others say that the film might have been a little better. Nonetheless, the normal evaluation is that the film hits the right chords with regards to picking the subject and engaging the audience of the film.

One fan tweeted, “Saif as Bunty feels so out of place. That role is made just for Abhishek Bachchan,” other user wrote, “How can you have any Bunty aur Babli without Abhishek Bachchan? The endearing, innocent charm of Bunty was all Abhishek!”

From weight lifting with cylinders to playing the con artist indeed, Saif is pulling all stops to track down a spot in our souls. While many pointed out the absence of Abhishek Bachchan, others contemplated whether Saif can actually replace him.
