New Delhi: BKU Spokesperson and Farmer Leader, Rakesh tikait has welcomed the center’s decision to repeal farm laws. He retaliated, that the protesting farmers will return to their homes only after the decision is duly passed by the Parliament.
However, He stressed that the government should talk to farmers over the issue of minimum support price (MSP) of crops and other matters first and then move ahead to take some decisions. He tweeted through his official handle.

Today Morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced repealing of the three farm laws, about which protests were happening since November 26, 2020. “The protest will not be withdrawn immediately, we will wait for the day when the farm laws are repealed in Parliament. Along with MSP, the government should talk to farmers on other issues too.”

After PM’s decision, Jalebis and Sweets were distributed among Protesters on the Ghazipur site to celebrate the victory of farmers.
