New Delhi: Tom Holland says the drawback of being a famous personality is the lack of privacy he gets in public places as the British star revealed about his relationship with Spider-Man movie co-star Zendaya. In July, the two stars, who have for quite a while denied dating each other, were shot kissing in a vehicle in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. The photographs quickly went viral on social media platforms and news sites in the US, fans started speculating about their relationship.
In an interview with GQ magazine, Holland spoke about the matter and discussed the struggles he and Zendaya face keeping parts of their life private.
“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world, I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway. We sort of felt robbed of our privacy.” Tom Holland expressed.
The Hollywood actor said that the decision to talk about his relationship with Zendaya isn’t his alone. He further added, “I don’t think it’s about not being ready. It’s just that we didn’t want to. It’s not a conversation that I can have without her. You know, I respect her too much to say. Having her in my life was so instrumental to my sanity. She is so good at being the role model for young guys and girls. This isn’t my story. It’s our story. And we’ll talk about what it is when we’re ready to talk about it together.”
Holland and Zendaya are right now preparing for Spider-Man: No Way Home, their third film together after 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, which was released in the year 2019.
