New Delhi: As The winter session of parliament nears, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee is poised to arrive in New Delhi on the evening of 22nd November for a four-day visit. She is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders on the issue of BSF and other state matters.
Mamta Banerjee is likely to meet other opposition party leaders to ally with the opposition in Parliament as the center decides to take down farm laws.
She is also going to meet Congress leader, Sonia Gandhi after two Congress leaders, Luizinho Falerio and Sushmita Dev joined Trinamool in the influence of Mamta Banerjee after the 2021 win. After this, the Congress state leaders and floor leader of the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury have sharpened their attack on the Trinamool Congress.
According to Chief Minister’s Office in Kolkata, The CM seeks discussion with PM Modi over the state’s pending financial dues and the recent extension of the BSF’s jurisdiction in the state from 15 km to 50 km from the International Borders.
The opposition parties are set to corner the government in the upcoming winter session of Parliament on issues of inflation, Chinese incursion, Pegasus spyware, and farm laws. Whereas, the government looks forward to introducing some reforms like Taxation of Cryptocurrencies, Legislature changes, etc. The session begins on November 29.
