A New FIR Has Been Lodged Against Actress Kangana Ranaut Regarding Her Recent Instagram Story Over Hateful Context Against Sikh Community

A FIR under section 295A has been listed against the Manikarnika actress for her hateful content on social media platforms.


New Delhi: A new FIR has been lodged against the controversial queen of bollywood Kangana Ranaut at Khar police station in Mumbai with respect to her Instagram Story over a hate filled context against Sikhs. On Monday, A delegation of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee led by its President Manjinder Singh Sirsa met senior police authorities in Mumbai. The delegation notified authorities that over and over Kangana is engaged with hurting Sikh feelings and that legal action ought to be taken against her actions.

On Saturday, Kangana posted on her Instagram story, ‘khalistani terrorists may be arm twisting the government today but let’s not forget one woman, the only woman prime minister ne inn ko apni jhutti ke niche crush kiya tha…No matter how much suffering she caused to this nation…she crushed them like mosquitos at the cost of her own life…lekin desh ke tukde nhi hone diye…even after decades of her death…ajj bhi uske naam se kampte hai yeh…inko vaisa hi guru chiye. She was alluding to Indira Gandhi who launched the operation Blue Star at Golden Temple Amritsar in the year 1984. 

After this post, she had to face the hate from Sikhs all over the nation. The leader and representative of Akali Dal, Sirsa said that Kangana doesn’t deserve any Padma Shri and this honor should be reclaimed from her by the President of India. He added that the actress should either be in prison or a mental hospital for passing such expressions against the Sikh community.

On Saturday, The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) and the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), as well, lodged a police complaint against Kangana Ranaut for purportedly passing rebellious and derogatory comments against them. IYC national secretary Amreesh Ranjan Pandey and Ambuj Dixit, coordinator of the outfit’s legal cell, filed a complaint against her at the Parliament Street Police Station situated in New Delhi.
