New Delhi: To mark the 1st anniversary of the protests against the Centre’s three farm laws. The SKM has planned things to express their power to the centre. 500 farmers are rumoured to participate in the tractor march to Parliament. This may continue every day during Winter Session starting 29th November.
The SKM has also called for massive maha panchayat in all state capitals from 26th November. SKM has claimed that farmers from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan will gather at the borders of Delhi to participate in the maha panchayat. Hence, blocking movement.
The SKM stands for Sanyukta Kisan Morcha, it is an umbrella body of 40 farmer unions leading the stir. The decisions were made during a meeting at the Singhu border protest site and later announced that it will observe one year of the movement on and after November 26 in a “massive way” all over India.

These decisions came after BKU Leader, Rakesh Tikait gave a deadline of 26th November to the centre to stop barricade removal as the centre opened Tikri and Ghazipur Border a few weeks ago.

Delhi Police may start preparations as a tractor rally on January 26 had turned violent with protesters breaking barricades, attacking security personnel and storming the Red Fort. During the incident, National Flag was insulted with a religious flag.
