New Delhi: Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has asked farmers to end the protests and go home as the demand to roll back the laws has been fulfilled. The statements have come two days ahead of a bill to repeal the three farm laws coming up in the Parliament.

The BJP has already issued a 3-line whip to its Rajya Sabha Members to be present on 29th November to support the government’s stand. Union Minister Tomar is expected to present a bill in Lok Sabha on the first day itself to repeal the three farm laws.

On 19th November. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation and announced that the three controversial farm bills would be rolled back. The farmer unions have welcomed the PM’s announcement, but have introduced many more demands like MSP guarantee.

Narendra Tomar has said, a committee will be formed to discuss the issues that have been raised by the farmers. But, staying in the streets is of no use.

Thousands of farmers have gathered at the borders of the capital New Delhi to protest against the three farm laws. The rollback of the laws has just come ahead of crucial elections in states like Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.
