SKM defers from ‘Tractor Rally’ says, Protest will continue

New Delhi: The Sanyukt Kisan Morcha, who was protesting against the 3 farm laws have decided to postpone the 29th November ‘Tractor Rally’. The protesters were looking to take on Parliament for Farmers Issue.

SKM leader, Darshan Pal Singh said, “After the meeting, Samyukt Kisan Morcha has decided to postpone the proposed tractor rally to Parliament on November 29.” However, he asserted the protests will continue with new demands.

He said, “PM Narendra Modi should direct state governments and Railways to withdraw the cases registered against farmers during the protest.”

BKU leader, Rajveer Singh Jadaun added, “In today’s meeting of SKM, we have decided to continue to protest until Govt holds talks with us over MSP, the death of farmers during the protest, & the Lakhimpur violence matter. We do not agree with Govt’s announcements today.” Clearly, The Farmers denied going back to home.

The SKM says the next meeting will be held on 4th December. Earlier today, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar requested farmers to go home as their demand has been fulfilled and laws have been repealed. Whereas, the SKM has added more demands now.
