PM talks to media ahead of Parliament session asks the country to be cautious about ‘the omicron’ variant

New Delhi: Ahead of the parliament session, PM Modi addressed the media persons about the parliament session. He said, the government is ready to discuss and reply to all questions of the opposition. While addressing media, PM Mod said, “The government is ready to debate every issue and answer any question. We should debate in Parliament and maintain the decorum of the proceedings,”

The PM added, “ a new variant of the Coronavirus has concerned the world. We all should stay alert in view of the new variant of the virus. I urge the citizens to keep the guard on.”

The 25-day Winter Session of parliament commences today, during which 36 bills are expected to be tabled. The bill to cancel the farm laws is likely to begin on a stormy note today and is being presented by union agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar.

The other bills to be passed in the session are crucial Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy (Second Amendment) Bill, 2021, and the Electricity (Amendment) Bill. A meeting was called by opposition leaders to discuss the Strategy for handling government.
