5 people injured in huge blast in Kabul, Afghanistan

New Delhi: Almost 5 people sustained injuries in a colossal blast near a school in Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital city. The blast happened around the high school building, one source said, while on the other hand some said that a roadside mine was exploded. Till now, no group has claimed any kind of connection and responsibility for the blast.

Ever since the Taliban’s takeover of Afghan soil in mid-August, attacks and blasts by ISIL-affiliated terrorists have increased in the country.

The rise in such terrorist activity has increased the probability of a wider conflict between two groups.
