New Delhi: Japanese Defence Minister Nobuo Kishi stated on Thursday calling out the decision to continue F-16 fighter jet flights before the probe is done into fuel tanks dropped by the US jet is highly regrettable. A US F-16 fighter jet was forced to eject two fuel tanks amid a flight near Japan’s residential area Aomori Prefecture due to a problematic emergency landing. Afterwards, Japan represented the United States of America and demanded flight suspension before the investigation is thoroughly done. However, Japan’s Misawa city administration recorded F-16 flights two days later the incident.

“This is highly regrettable,” Japan Defence Minister stated.
