New Delhi: BTS is back on the stage after about two years and their shows in Los Angeles were proof that fans have been sitting tight for their performance. The K-pop group made that big appearance at LA’s SoFi Stadium on four successive evenings and made over 33.3 million dollars from the show, according to Billboard.
The group has sold 214,000 tickets. These figures make the SoFi stadium show the highest earning since the venues started to reopen recently. Videos from the BTS shows became a web sensation on social media. Megan Thee Stallion also performed on Butter with the K-Pop band.
On their first day, RM gave an enthusiastically emotional speech, expressing gratitude toward their ARMY, he said, “Thank you for this historical night. I really thought that I am going to miss this moment in my forties, sixties. You guys are the proof of our existence, our leave. You guys are our proof! We are now truly bulletproof,”
BTS was set to go to the MAMA 2021 Awards, but because of the changing quarantine rules in South Korea as a result of the rising number of Coronavirus cases, the band won’t be appearing at the show.
It has been a thrilling year for BTS, as they accomplished new achievements, breaking records with Butter, Permission to dance concert and My Universe collaboration with Coldplay. They even got nominated at the Grammy Awards.
