Congress releases women’s manifesto; the first row reserved for lady journalists

Congress has promised to increase the share of poor women in MNREGA to giving 25 percent jobs in the police force, smartphones for girls in govt schools of class 11 and 12th. Financial assistance of Rs 10,000 will be given to the ASHA workers of the state.

New Delhi: As UP Election nears, Congress has kept its full focus on women voters. Now, Congress General Secretary and State in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have released a separate manifesto for women. It includes many big announcements emphasizing empowering women. To make this special program more successful, the party also special preparations.
At the time when Priyanka Gandhi was releasing the Women’s Manifesto with her colleagues, the first row was reserved for Lady Journalists. That is, only women journalists were allowed to sit there. It is rarely seen during any press conference that seats are reserved there.
The ‘Pink’ color was seen prominently throughout the press conference. The slogan ‘Ladki hoon lad Sakti hoon’ was written on the mainboard. In the Manifesto, many big promises have been made.
It includes increasing the share of poor women in MNREGA to giving 25 percent jobs in the police force, smartphones for girls in govt schools of class 11 and 12th. Apart from this, there is also talk of free treatment up to 10 lakhs for women if congress comes to power in the state.
