New Delhi: Paris Saint-German forward Kylian Mbappe has achieved the title of becoming the youngest player ever to score 30 goals in the UEFA Champions League tournament.
The 22-year-old achieved the feat after scoring a howler against Club Brugge on Tuesday. The previous record-holder was his Argentinian teammate, Lionel Messi.
Currently, Mbappe has scored 30 Champions League goals at the young age of 22 years and 352 days, on the other hand, Messi was 23 years and 131 days old when he achieved the milestone, sources reported.
With Mbappe and Messi scoring two goals each on Tuesday, PSG came out to be victorious with 4-1 against Club Brugge.
As of the other matches, Dortmund pounded Besiktas with a 5-0 victory whereas Real Madrid thrashed Inter Milan 2-0.
Ajax captured their astonishing win over Sporting FC with 4-2 while Atletico Madrid outmuscled FC Porto 3-1.
