New Delhi: India registered 9,419 fresh COVID19 cases on Thursday which is 11.6% higher than yesterday. As of now, the active tally of cases is 94,742. Around 159 deaths were registered in 24 hours.
The World Health Organisation stated that the new Omicron variant doesn’t come out to cause more critical infection than the previous COVID variant, and is “highly unlikely” to completely dodge vaccination protection.
So far, a total number of 129.54 crore vaccine doses have been registered under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive of India.
