New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath was Addressing a public event in Mathura. During the address, the CM alleged that the previous governments in Uttar Pradesh spent money on building the boundaries of kabristans (graveyards) whereas now the money is being spent on developing Teerth Sthal.
The CM stated, “ Earlier The State government was biased towards one community. The money was used to build the boundaries of Kabristan. Now, the money is used for building Teerth Sthals. Now, rituals are being organized on a grand scale and the saints are given respect. The Kumbh is a great example of reliving a 5,000-year-old tradition.”
The CM’s visit to Mathura came after tension in the area as the Hindu Mahasabha called Hindu ritual ceremonies at the Shahi Masjid Idgah, next to the Katra Keshav Dev temple complex in Mathura. An announcement for the Installation of Krishna Idol was rumored to happen.

The CM added, “The benefits earlier only were for four VIP districts: during the previous governments, now it’s for every district. Earlier only one family was enjoying benefits, now 25 crore people of the state are getting them.” The CM also asserted that phones and tablets will be given to youngsters this month as part of empowerment policies as announced earlier.
