New Delhi: An official agreement has been signed between the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Oppo India, the Chinese based phone makers Oppo has ignited a controversary, with politicians and netizens pointing fingers at the Indian space agency over the agreement, as it was signed despite eastern Ladakh disputes with China and ban on Chinese apps by the Central government.
Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi stated via her Twitter handle stated, “Hello China. Lots of Love. ISRO”. She further added, “It amazes me to no end that on one hand we as a nation are trying to fend them off the border, reduce their exposure to Indian markets and yet important arms of India and national security continue to be oblivious to the threat”.
