New Delhi: On 15th December, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has moved a notice in Lok Sabha against the Lakhimpur Kheri violence and demanded the immediate removal of Union Minister of State (Home) Ajay Mishra.
The development has happened as yesterday the SIT of UP Police reported to CJM that the Lakhimpur violence was a “planned conspiracy” to kill farmers. The minister’s son Ashish Mishra is one of the 13 accused arrested.

Whereas, The Congress has issued a whip to its Rajya Sabha members to be present in the House today. Party chief whip Jairam Ramesh said “very important issues will be taken up for discussion in Rajya Sabha”, MoS and Ajay Mishra along with 12 MPs Suspension will be raised in Rajya Sabha too.

The Protests over the suspension of 12 MPs continue in front of Gandhi Smarak in Parliament. leaders of Various Opposition parties took out a symbolic protest march against the suspension. The MoS Ajay Mishra and Lakhimpur Violence’s SIT report is going to uproar in parliament for sure.
