Saints Contribution not recorded properly In Freedom Struggle: PM Modi

New Delhi: Mentioning the Importance of Saints in the freedom struggle. PM Modi on 14th December said, that many saints left their spiritual passion to join the movement but their contributions were not recorded in history as it was thought. PM Modi also added that India is a unique nation. Whenever Nation faces adverse times, a saint emerges to change the course of time.

The Prime Minister was addressing a gathering at an event to mark the 98th-anniversary celebrations of Sadguru Sadafaldeo Vihangam Yog Sansthan at the newly built Swarved Mahamandir Dham.

The PM Said, “The tallest leader of independence is called “Mahatma” by the world, it is only in India where spiritualism runs along with political movements as well, and it is India alone where a spiritual organization’s annual event is celebrated as Amrit Mahotsav”. PM mentioned the celebration of the 75th Independence Anniversary.

PM added, “When we are celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, it is our collective responsibility to bring the forgotten to the front,” PM Said while adding that it is why the country is remembering the contributions of its gurus and saints in the freedom struggle by making new generations aware about it.

PM Modi also urged the crowd to make two resolutions in line with Sadhguru’s resolutions for the aspirations of the country and the focus it is collectively achieved in the next two years.
PM also urged to focus on the education and skill development of daughters. PM said, “Along with their families, those who can take responsibility in society should also take the responsibility of skill development of one or two poor daughters,” he said.
