New Delhi: Virat Kohli, India’s former captain of the white ball, addressed a virtual press conference from Mumbai ahead of the team’s departure to South Africa and cleared all rumors to rest. Virat Kohli stated that he was available for selection for the ODI series.
“I am available for selection in the ODIs. You should honestly ask these questions to the sources who are writing all this,” Kohli on reports of avoiding BCCI selection.

Words of Virat have raised more doubts now. Virat further added, “Before the selection call, I was told I won’t be the captain and I said OKAY. After the meeting, we had a brief chat and that’s it. I was not communicated at all.”

Virat on Jadeja’s retirement reports said, “We all know Jadeja’s quality and he will be missed. But we have enough bench strength. As much as we will miss him, I am sure that will not be a deciding factor.”
