New Delhi: Delhi government has opened schools from class 6th to 12th from today as the direction of the Supreme Court, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) had issued instructions to open schools and colleges in a phased manner. CAQM said that they have received a large number of applications for opening schools and educational institutes as pollution in the Capital has gone to lower levels.
After this, The Directorate of Education has asked all schools as per the Air Quality Commission, it has allow the resumption of offline classes for students from class 6 to class 12. In view of this, all government schools, government-aided schools, private schools, NDMC schools, all three MCD schools, and Cantt Board schools are being opened from December 18.
The directorate has asked all the schools to convey this information to all the students, staff members, members of the school management committee, and parents. Whereas, in the view of omicron, schools have been asked to ensure covid appropriate behavior to ensure lower spread.
