News Delhi: Allu Arjun’s starrer Pushpa The Rise had a kick start at the box office. It has enrolled a sum of Rs 71 crore worldwide on its first day of release, the producers shared on Twitter. Pushpa The Rise is currently giving a tough competition to Spider-Man No Way Home. The Tom Holland starrer film released on Friday. Both the movies have got incredible reviews.
Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst expressed in a tweet, “#Pushpa *#Hindi* springs a surprise on Day 1… Gathers speed at single screens, multiplexes decent… Despite limited shows/screens + minimal promotions + #SpiderMan juggernaut + 50% occupancy in biggest market [#Maharashtra]… Will get stronger on Day 2… Fri ₹ 3 cr.” It acquired Rs 91.11 lakhs in Australia, while in the USA, the film gathered around $850,000.
The Sukumar movie is the third collaboration of the director with actor Allu Arjun. The two have previously worked together for Arya and Arya 2. Their next will be Pushpa’s second part which will be named as ‘Pushpa The Rule.’
