New Delhi: As the Assembly elections in Punjab nears, State Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu has launched a major attack on former chief minister Amarinder Singh over his party’s announcement of Alliance with Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).
Siddhu threw a sharp attack on Captain saying that he’s now sitting at home and licking the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sidhu said, “Captain once said that doors have been closed for Sidhu, but see today who is sitting at home and is licking the feet of Modi,”. He was addressing a rally at Kapurthala.

Capt. Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu have been facing each other for a long time in Punjab. The fight came out in the open when Captain was asked to step down as the CM in September and Charanjit Singh Channi was announced as Punjab CM by Congress.

After which, Captain announced his own new party and decided to ally with BJP to fight on 117 constituency seats in Punjab.
