New Delhi: A violent hand fight broke out between BJP and Trinamool Congress MLAs in the West Bengal Assembly on Monday. On the last day of the budget session, leaders of the two parties clashed over the violence at Rampurhat in Birbhum.

During this time, the clothes were torn and TMC MLA Aasit Majumdar allegedly suffered a nose injury. The BJP MLAs alleged that when it demanded a discussion on the Birbhum case, the TMC MLAs lost their temper and had a scuffle during which BJP MLA Manoj Tigga was assaulted.

After this, BJP MLAs staged a walkout from the House. Action has been taken against five BJP MLAs after the incident. Suvendu Adhikari, Manoj Tigga, Shankar Ghosh, Deepak Barman, and Narhari Mahato have been suspended.

BJP’s IT cell chief Amit Malviya has tweeted on the whole issue. He has shared a video in which BJP and TMC MLAs are seen in a scuffle.

Along with this tweet, Amit Malviya wrote that there was an uproar in the West Bengal Assembly. After the Bengal Governor, TMC MLAs now attacked BJP MLAs, including Chief Whip Manoj Tigga, as they were demanding a discussion on the Rampurhat massacre.
